Mandy Haeburn-Little

Mandy has worked in a range of organisations in
private, public and charitable sectors. These have included the
water authority, Standard Life and Edinburgh Trams. She also
an her own successful business over a period of 7 years which
advised individuals and organisations on impact. Mandy is looking
forward to strengthening the partnership which the centre has with
many stakeholders and to developing the services and products for
members.

Gary Ritchie

Inspector Gary Ritchie was appointed to the role of Assistant
Director in January 2010. A serving Officer with Lothian and
Borders Police, Gary has 13 years experience in the Police Service,
with expertise in crime prevention and was seconded for a period to
Crimestoppers Scotland as Call Centre Manager. |

Carol Holden

Carol Holden was appointed Office Manager in October 2005.
Formerly employed as Business Office Manager in the private
healthcare sector, Carol has extensive experience in Administration
and Finance. She also worked for several years as a law
accountant. |

Lyndsay Kean

Lyndsay Kean, our first Events Coordinator, joined the team in
April 2007. Lyndsay is a graduate of Strathclyde University and has
a degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management. She has 18 months
experience of events management with the Scottish Further Education
Unit based in Stirling. |

Varrie Robertson

Varrie joined the SBCC as Administrative Assistant in February
2009. Prior to this, Varrie worked as a Purchase Ledger Clerk for
Gladedale Group based in Stirling. |

Tom McDougall joined the Cente on 30 August 2004, following his
retirement as Police Inspector with Central Scotland Police. Tom
has over 28 years experience as a serving Police Officer and is now
responsible for the co-ordination of the Safer Areas
Initiative. |

Matt Ronan joined the team at the centre in May 2009 in the
role of Safe Areas Co-ordinator after retiring from Fife
Constabulary where he had been involved with the Safe Town Centre's
Initiative in Glenrothes. |

George joined the team in June 2006 after serving 30 years with
Strathclyde Police, mainly involved in crime investigation and
crime prevention. |

Tom Porter
Development Manager

Tom Porter took up post in early March 2008.Tom retired after
32 years in the Police service, during his career he served in a
variety of posts including: operational Policing, C.I.D, training,
personnel and latterly the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement
Agency where he was responsible for the prevention and disruption
of serious organised crime. |

Jacqui is
a serving officer with Lothian & Borders police with 24yrs
police service, prior to joining ACPO Secured by Design she worked
in the West Lothian area latterly as an Architectural Liaison
Officer. She has an extensive background in crime
prevention.

Lisa Toon

Prior to joining the Association of Neighbourhood Watches as
their National Development Officer, Lisa spent two and a half years
working for the Scottish Court Service as a Training and
Development Officer based in Edinburgh. Before that, she worked
briefly for a Children's Charity and started her working life as a
Training Co-ordinator in an Asda Distribution Centre in
Grangemouth. Lisa studied Marketing at Strathclyde University and
then completed a Masters in Information Technology at Stirling
University.

Liz joined the Association of Scottish Neighbourhood Watches in
November 2011 to take on the role of Administration
Assistant. Prior to joining the AoSNW she worked for many
years in the banking sector.
