Distribution Industry Partnership Scotland - Members

The Distribution Industry Partnership Scotland (DIPS) is managed by a Management Committee, which meets quarterly.

Chair of the Management Committee is Hugh Brown, Global Logistics Manager for Edrington Group. Hugh has worked in the Scotch Whisky Industry for over 38 years and has chaired D.I.P.S since 2004.

Hugh's background has always been in the Logistics/Export & Customer Services side of the business. He is a member of the Institute of Export (MIEX) and has been heavily involved in the Committees of both the Scottish & British Shipping Councils where he was a past Chairman of the SSC and Vice Chair of the BSC for 3 years.

Hugh and his Management Team have been instrumental in establishing the Memo of Understanding (M.O.U.) between ACPOS and DIPS and raising the awareness of the risks associated in transporting high volume consignments throughout the U.K. to the marketplace worldwide.
